All your coaches at the GGWAS are highly qualified and registered to Archery New Zealand, with a combined coaching experience of over 70 years. GGWAS can cater for any archer, from the newest of beginners to the most experienced international competitor.
We can also carter people with a range of special needs, be they mental, physical or visual. |
From the 1st Jan 2022 - The GGWAS is a COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate Society.
Due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19, it was decided at the Society's AGM in December 2021 that anyone, be they Archer, Parent, Family member or Visitor must record their name and if not a member of the society the reason for the visit and a contact number in the Society attendance book.
They can also scan in our QR code, if the government require this.
These rules will be monitored to follow any changes by the government but will look to protect the society's members from infection as it's highest priority. We have a number of vulnerable members (or vulnerable same household contacts), and these must be protected at all times.
The Society has stopped collecting Vaccine Certificate details at this time, but if the requirement to do so returns then all members and visitors must show their up-to-date pass and details to the membership secretary.
If you are feeling unwell, especially with Flu type symptoms, please stay away and get yourself checked.
Society Rules updated the 1st Oct 2022
The Society attendance book must be signed by all members and visitors. This is a Society and School rule and has nothing to do with Covid-19.
