16th October
Our very first formal competition, shooting an RMT 720, with distances ranging from Recurve 70m to Novice 18m rounds. The weather was very hot, with a strong breeze in the later part of the afternoon, making shooting a challenge. It was a closed competition due to the amount of archers from our club participating and with one person from Geraldine. Some excellent shooting and scores achieved, most of the archers have only been shooting for 9 months. Keith also achieved a perfect pin at Compound 50m. Well done to all. |
