GGWAS Competition Results
Canadian 900 - 3 distances, 5 ends shot at each. The top scores are used as a team score that is entered into the ANZ Summer Postal League, archer must be a member of ANZ to be part of the team. This score is also used for the GGWAS Summer Handicap Trophy, this is separate to the ANZ League.
ANZ Youth Postal - This is an individual round(s) for juniors. This is run as a Winter series and a Summer series. Only those that are members of ANZ can have their scores entered into the full ANZ Youth Postal Results. All other juniors still shoot this and the scores are recorded for GGWAS, a great way to show individual improvement.
ECBOPAA - The East Cost Bay of Plenty Archery Association runs a winter postal shoot over 5 months, starting in May. This is shot at 18m with a different round each month.
Royle Hutton Shoot - This is a memorial shoot, it is always shot on Waitangi Day, 6th February. This is a Burton Round. Only members of ANZ can have their scores entered to ANZ Results.
Ryan/Fraser/Hamilton Shield - Three separate ANZ Shields to be competed for, shot annually against other clubs, Short Ohio round. Ryan Shield - Recurve; Fraser Shield - Compound; Hamilton Shield - Barebow and longbow.
Results by Year
This is an individual and team competition between participating Intermediate and Secondary Schools throughout New Zealand. This is shot on a school term basis. Must be a member of ANZ to participate.
